Roth Marz Partenrship was selected to design a new nuring home for Warren County. The Rouse-Warren County Home provides 179 beds in semi-private suites based on a radial concept design of nursing wings around a central core. The home features a controlled access dementia wing specifically designed to accommodate Alzheimer's patients. Amenities in the facility include large living areas in a residentially scaled building, multi-purpose rooms, crafts and medical support staff offices. The design is based on a radial concept and provides 90 double bed suites. The internal courtyard is used year round by the residents and staff for exercise and provides a comfortable visual backdrop for the residents. The project was presented the Nursing Home of the Year Award for all nursing home facilities designed using state and federally sponsored monies in that year.
